At least five people were hospitalized after a small skydiving plane overshot the runway at a New Jersey airport on Thursday, AP reported citing officials said.
Gloucester County emergency management said a “multi-agency mass casualty incident” was declared at Cross Keys Airport in Monroe Township around 5.30pm (local time), after reports of a plane crash, BNO News reported.
A Cessna 208B with 15 people on board was involved in the incident at Cross Keys Airport, a federal aviation Administration spokesperson said. The FAA is investigating the matter.
According to hospital spokesperson Wendy A Marano, the hospital’s EMS and trauma teams responded to the crash site, but she did not have details on the conditions of those hurt.
