AP PGECET result 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2025 results were officially announced on Tuesday evening by state IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh . The minister confirmed a robust overall pass percentage of 93.55%, marking a strong turnout in this year's state-level postgraduate entrance exam.
A total of 14,231 candidates had registered for the exam, which was conducted across 13 disciplines related to engineering and pharmacy. Out of these, 11,244 candidates qualified, comprising 5,491 male and 5,753 female students, with women marginally leading the tally.
The PGECET serves as the gateway for admission into M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, and Pharma D programmes across Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the result announcement event, Lokesh extended his congratulations to all successful candidates and reiterated the government’s resolve to uphold transparency, merit-based evaluation, and greater access to higher education for all.
“This achievement reflects not only the hard work of our students but also the state's commitment to educational reform and quality access,” Lokesh stated as reported by TNN.
