Skechers trainers that shoppers say are 'like slippers' now reduced to £37

Skechers are a great option for shoppers who want a reliable pair of trainers that are both stylish and comfortable, and one of its most popular designs has been heavily reduced on Amazon. The Flex Appeal 4.0 Brilliant View trainers are currently £37.82, down from £64 at the time of writing. But, as is often the case with Amazon discounts, they can change with little notice.

The discount only applies to the black colour with rose gold trim, and sizes run from two to 10, including half sizes.

The trainers are made from lightweight mesh fabric and tie with laces. They are designed to be comfortable and keep your feet cool, reports the Daily Record. The insoles are made from memory foam with tiny holes in them, which Skechers says is layered with breathable mesh fabric on top to help with airflow. In theory, it should help keep your feet cooler.

This particular model has already earned nearly 13,000 reviews on Amazon, with the majority of buyers impressed by how comfortable they feel immediately.

One reviewer said: "Mega comfy. First time wearing, I walked for miles. Extremely comfortable, highly recommend." Another purchaser described them as: "So light you don't even know you're wearing them."

Plenty of shoppers compared them to slippers, with one review saying: "These are great trainers, so light and comfortable, feels like you're wearing slippers!" But not everyone found them suitable for their needs, though. One customer who gave them three stars explained: "I have plantar fasciitis so will need to revert to the arch fit style. Look lovely though."

For most, however, the fit and value for money stand out. One shopper wrote: "I will only wear Skechers trainers as they are the comfiest and longest-wearing trainers. These trainers are great-comfy from first wear! I bought them for under £40-bargain!"
