M62 traffic LIVE: Chaos on UK motorway with 2-hour delays after lorry fire

There are huge delays of two hours on the M62 following a lorry fire. The incident took place just before 2pm when emergency servcies were called to the scene.

The motorway has been closed in one direction with congestion building up. Three lanes are currently blocked until close to junction 21 for Milnrow. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and make alternative travel arrangements where possible.

The incident occurred close to Junction 22 for Rishworth Moor. The M62 is closed between Eastbound Junction 22, Denshaw, and Junction 24, Huddersfield.
