
The Summer Bank Holiday is now just hours away, with many Britons looking forward to a well-earned extra day off. The public holiday falls on the last Monday of August in England, Wales, Northern Ireland. This year that's tomorrow which is Monday, August 25.
In Scotland, the Bank Holiday falls on the first Monday of August. Stores may change their opening hours on these national public holidays, and we'll be sharing all we know about closures or reduced hours at your local supermarket.
