Argos has opened pre-orders for one of this year's must-have Christmas presents for retro gaming fans.
The recently announced Evercade Alpha Taito Bartop Arcade launches on November 12, complete with ten classic games built-in to the device.
If you want to ensure you get one in time for Christmas (because they probably will sell out), then Argos is selling the Taito Bartop for £229.99. Just click the link below to nab yours ahead of launch.
The Evercade Alpha Taito Bartop is currently listed as popular on the Argos website, so don't delay if you want to guarantee yours.
While it doesn't matter too much until November, Argos offers same-day delivery and in-store collection.
You can also buy and pay later (or in installments) using schemes such as Klarna.
Needless to say, the arcade machine will be compatible with existing Evercade cartridges, which means you can also play collections from the likes of Atari, NeoGeo, Toaplan and Irem.
The device is also said to contain "authentic, competition-grade arcade controls", as well as a bright 8-inch display and built-in stereo speakers.
Fans can further customise the Evercade Alpha by swapping the light-up marquee panels between Bubble Bobble, Space Invaders and Rastan-themed artwork.
Dual USB ports and support for Evercade-compatible controllers mean you can play co-op and competitive multiplayer on the device.
It will be the third Evercade Alpha Arcade Machine to hit stores, following the release of two Capcom-themed devices in 2024.
