Apple's iPhone is still one of the very best smartphones money can buy thanks to its premium design, powerful performance, great cameras and pin-sharp display. Sadly, taking delivery of one of these call makers has never been cheap with Apple gadgets usually costing way more than their Android rivals. Luckily, there is now a way to grab a new iPhone without the usual high cost.
Argos has announced the launch of a new deal that's currently offering the iPhone 14 at its 'lowest ever' price. That drop means you can now pop one of these devices in your pocket and pay just £449 for the privilege.
Other stores such as Amazon and Currys are also stocking the iPhone 14 but are charging £499 for the device - that's £50 more.

The reduction is clearly proving popular. Argos has confirmed that the deal is currently 'selling fast' and is 'in demand'.
It's worth noting that the UK retailer is stocking all six colours of the iPhone 14, but only the Yellow, Red and Purple versions have that cheaper price.
Those wanting the Blue, Black or Starlight shades will need to pay £495. So, is this older iPhone any good and should you invest.
Despite the iPhone 14 now being superseded by the iPhone 15 and latest iPhone 16, it's still a top-rated device.
Owners get a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, dual-lens camera and speedy A15 Bionic chip.

There are also extras such as wireless charging, long battery life and Crash Detection which calls for help if you happen to have been involved in an accident and aren't responding.
Toughened glass also helps it stay box fresh for longer and it's fully compatible with the upcoming iOS 26 upgrade which brings a new Liquid Glass look and bonus features such as call blocking, updated lock screen and Live Translation.
No, it's not as impressive as some newer models and, unlike the iPhone 16, you don't get access to Apple Intelligence.
However, the iPhone 14 is a solid choice if you don't want to spend a small fortune.
