Baaghi 4 Advance Booking: Tiger Shroff's Action Drama Trails Behind Baaghi 2 and 3, Early Numbers Out

Send Push

Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff is back with yet another power-packed entertainer, Baaghi 4, which is all set to release on September 5, 2025. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by A Harsh, promises high-octane stunts, intense drama, and face-offs. This time, veteran actor Sanjay Dutt takes on the role of the main antagonist, while Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa appear as the leading ladies.

While excitement is building up for the film, the advance booking figures have now come to light—and they reveal a mixed story for Tiger Shroff and his fans.

Advance Booking Report

Advance booking for Baaghi 4 opened on September 2, 2025, and as of late night on September 3, the film managed to sell around 60,000 tickets across the top three national cinema chains—PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis.

Industry trackers suggest that with one full day still left before release, the film’s pre-sales could touch 90,000 admissions by its opening day. However, it is still unlikely to cross the 1 lakh mark, a benchmark often considered strong for big-ticket Bollywood releases.

Opening Day Box Office Prediction

Despite modest pre-sales, Baaghi 4 is tracking better than Tiger Shroff’s recent outings. Early trade estimates indicate that the movie could open in the range of ₹8.50 crore to ₹9.50 crore on Day 1 at the Indian box office.

If this projection holds true, the film’s opening will surpass Tiger’s last few films, but it will still fall significantly short of the earlier Baaghi franchise records.

Comparison with Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3

The challenge for Baaghi 4 lies in the towering success of its predecessors:

  • Baaghi 2 (2018): Opened at a massive ₹25 crore in India.

  • Baaghi 3 (2020): Collected ₹17.50 crore on its first day.

Against this backdrop, Baaghi 4’s predicted ₹9 crore opening looks relatively modest, raising questions about whether the film can match the box office legacy of the franchise.

Competition at the Box Office

Baaghi 4 is not entering theatres alone. It will face tough competition from multiple new releases, including The Conjuring: Last Rites, The Bengal Files, and Loka Chapter One – Chandra (Hindi). The clash is expected to divide audience attention, especially in metro cities where Hollywood thrillers perform strongly.

The film’s long-term success will depend heavily on word-of-mouth publicity and reviews. If audiences connect with the action, emotions, and drama, Baaghi 4 could see a positive trend after the first weekend.
