Ninja Portable Air Fryer lands on early Amazon Prime Day deal with over £55 off

This year’s summer Amazon Prime Day deals have officially begun, with the online retailer promising to slash prices on everything from fashion and beauty to tech and garden furniture between now and July 11. The major sale event is the perfect opportunity to pick up larger items you might have been eyeing for a while, including some very handy kitchen appliances.

One great deal that we’ve spotted in the Prime Day offers is the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer, which has been slashed by 31%. Usually priced at £179.99, the portable air fryer is now £124, and it’s a must-have gadget for those short on space.

The Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer is perfect for both on the go and for those with smaller kitchens thanks to its compact size, with some reviewers saying they even took it camping with them to help with cooking. It measures just 34.5cm high, 30.4cm wide and 34cm deep, but still has enough space to cook a whole 1.2kg chicken and vegetables, and comes with two different size containers, with a 3.8litre one and a 1.4litre one to switch between.

All you need for it to function is a plug socket, so if you have a campervan or a portable camping extension lead you’ll be able to whip up a proper homecooked meal away from home. It has one small main pod, but still offers multiple functions, allowing you to swap between air fry, roast, recrisp and keep warm settings.

The cooking dishes are made from thermal shock resistant glass which are dishwasher safe and easy to clean, but they also mean you can serve directly from the bowl, cutting down on washing up and how many dishes you need. The bowls also come with a snap on tuppaware-style lid, so you can take your food on the go with you.

If you’re looking for other options, Lakeland has also launched a sale to rival Amazon Prime Day, which sees its 1.8litre Mini Multi Cooker slashed from £59.99 to £49.99, and the eight litre Slimline Air Fryer Black down from £89.99 to £79.99.

The Amazon deal, however, means that the Ninja CRISPi Portable Air Fryer is currently cheaper than if you bought it directly from the Ninja website, where it’s also on sale but only with £30 off, slashing it down to £149.99. Amazon Prime customers also have the added bonus of free next day delivery, meaning you can have your new air fryer arriving at your door by tomorrow.

Reviews have also been overwhelmingly positive for the Ninja air fryer, with one saying: “Love loving this so easy to use and wash just bung in the dishwasher and all clean again. Bought when on offer would pay full price defo. I’ve got a 9-1 which is heavy so it’s now redundant. Ask if I would buy again yes definitely recommend”

Another agreed: “Just the right size for the caravan works great does as they say store good in fridge cook the next day, or reheat.”

Some were less taken with it, saying: “I had high exceptions for this. We love anything to do with Ninja, but this was a bit of a let down. It doesn't seem to crisp stuff like the other Ninja Airfryers. Even the larger bowl is quite small. But this is all for naught as one of our girls came home from uni last weekend and has taken a shine to it, so its days are numbered in this house.”

Others found it useful though, saying: “Never been interested in an air fryer but love this... perfect small dish for solo cooking.”
