The Big Brother house is getting a little quieter now that Gani Khan has been shown the door. The 39-year-old from Bromley became the second contestant of the 2025 season to be evicted.
He follows behind 25-year-old Emily Hewertson, who was brutally evicted on day one thanks to a devilish twist. But having made it through almost a week, Gani was voted out of the show by the public with an eviction that aired on ITV on Friday.
The housemates have been missing his presence in the hours since he was sent back into the outside world. Most affected is 56-year-old Caroline Monk, from Canvey Island in Essex, who bonded fast with Gani.

Speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, Caroline battled through tears and lamented: “I’ve never had a friendship like that, with even a guy, let alone anyone else. I just feel for him as he wanted this more than anybody."
She went on to suggest she will miss him greatly. She commented: "He was just like my shadow. I feel like one magpie has lost the other one.” However, some fans took to social media to question Caroline's tears - commenting that she had only known her co-contestant for a few days.
Gani had a dramatic exit on Friday night as Storm Amy brought chaos to the live eviction. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best hosted the event from inside, as they would usually present outdoors.
But as powerful winds battered the UK, the presenters sought refuge in the Big Brother studio. Gani was also forced to exit the house through the back door as the hazardous weather conditions disrupted the usual eviction process.
During his time in the house, the contestant - originally from Chennai, in India - stunned his housemates when he revealed he had been forced into an arranged marriage by his parents. Opening up about his personal life, he revealed that he had been investigating his bisexuality when his parents made a choice about his life for him.

He told Jenny Baird, 20, that he had married his cousin last year and went on to reveal he and his wife had welcomed a son 10 months ago. However, the dad explained that he had considered that married life wasn't for him.
Jenny had asked him about his quest for love after moving to the UK. Gani explained: "This is going to be very interesting and very shocking for you. 2022 was the turning point in my life.
"I was so open-minded [on sexuality], even though I was from a religious background. I was always like, 'Why not try everything?'"
He continued: "From 2022 to 2024, I was literally enjoying and exploring bisexuality. And then at the end of 2023, December 2023, my dad all of a sudden was like, 'Gani, how long are you not gonna be married. Come on, please marry, why are you doing this?'
"And I was like, 'No, I don't want to get married, blah, blah, blah''. Then my dad asked me [to get married] and I couldn't say no."
He then revealed: "That is how I got married in January 2024 with my cousin."
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
