Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, has held discussions with Luis Diaz over a summer transfer as the Liverpool star takes time to weigh up his long-term future.
Diaz, 28, continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield in the wake of Liverpool's Premier League title-winning campaign. And it has now emerged that talks over a potential move to the newly minted German champions have already taken place.
Eberl is said to have made a 'concrete approach' to Diaz on behalf of Bayern Munich, who are searching for a wide forward after missing out on Florian Wirtz to the Reds.
Bild report that they 'discussed specific figures' in a bid to reach an agreement over personal terms for the Colombia star. Diaz is contracted to Liverpool until the summer of 2027 but has already been linked with a lucrative transfer to Spain this summer.

Bayern have other options on their radar, though, including Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. They have already missed out on deals for Jamie Gittens and Nico Williams, with the latter seemingly poised to join Barcelona.
Details of Diaz's talks with Eberl and Bayern come just weeks after the winger's partner, Gera Ponce, sent social media into a frenzy by sharing what appeared to be a farewell message on her Instagram account.
She wrote: "To the incredible Liverpool fans. From the first day we arrived, we felt first hand what it means to be a part of this club. We knew the slogan was 'You’ll Never Walk Alone', but to hear them sing it with so much passion, support us every moment and show such unconditional love... confirmed to us that here you never walk alone.
