Priya first stepped into television with the Marathi show Ya Sukhano Ya, quickly finding her footing in the industry. She later featured in serials like Char Divas Sasuche and carved her own space in Marathi entertainment. Her entry into Hindi television came with Kasamh Se, where she played Vidya Bali, before moving on to lighter formats such as Comedy Circus.
Her real breakthrough came when she essayed the role of Varsha in Pavitra Rishta, a performance that made her a recognisable name among Hindi TV viewers. Priya also appeared in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain as Jyoti Malhotra and later took on a grey-shaded role in the Marathi serial Tu Tithe Me.
